Waterproofing
Rani Towers

Overview:
Rani Towers suffered from persistent water ingress across its facades and balconies, causing staining, spalling and moisture damage to internal spaces. The high-rise’s exposed elevations and balcony detailing allowed water to penetrate through cracks and failed joints. The goal was to create a fully watertight envelope that protected the structure and eliminated recurring leaks.
Approach:
We carried out a comprehensive inspection of the facades, balconies and joints to identify every point of water entry. Cracks were routed and sealed, movement joints re-detailed, and balcony surfaces prepared and treated. A flexible, UV-stable waterproofing membrane was then applied across facades and balconies to ensure continuous coverage of all vulnerable areas.

Technical specifications:
Application: Facades, balconies and movement joints
System: Flexible UV-stable waterproofing membrane
Crack repair: Routed, sealed and reinforced
Coverage: Continuous watertight envelope
Durability: Resistant to weathering and movement
Results:
The works produced a fully watertight facade and balcony system, eliminating water ingress and preventing further spalling. Internal moisture problems were resolved and the building envelope was protected against future weathering, reducing long-term maintenance and preserving the towers’ appearance.
